Bobby Flippin and his “Little Hay Hauler” S-10 are known in the mid-atlantic area as one of the most competitive racers on 275 drag radials. To prove that point Bobby not only finished his season in X275 at Maryland International Raceway in the runner up spot, but he also did the same at Virginia Motorsports Park tying Dale Handy for the number 2 spot in points. That would be enough racing for most people but he also found time to race in the Performance Fabricators 10.5 Class and took the number 1 spot in points in that class! With his very busy racing schedule Bobby also attended a few events outside of the Virginia / Maryland areas winning the X275 race at the Fall Civil Wars in Rockingham, North Carolina and racing in Outlaw 8.5 at the Radial Revolution held at South Georgia Motorsports Park. Certainly you would think with all that racing it wouldn’t leave time for much else but Bobby and his wife also welcomed a new member of the family into the world when their daughter was born! Congratulations to Bobby and Emily! The bright red S-10 is powered by a Small Block 18 degree Chevy with a two stage nitrous plate and fogger and has run into the 4.90′s in the 1/8th mile late in the 2010 season.
